Empty the Shelter

Saturday May 5, 2018 The Cheboygan County Humane Society will be partnered with The Bissell Pet Foundation for the next Empty the Shelter event.  On May 5th at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. only the Bissell Pet Foundation will be paying the adoption fees on all Adult dogs and all cats in the shelter to approved adopters (license fees will be charged to you for all dogs).  This is a first come first serve event and no animal will be held for anyone.  If you want a certain animal and are afraid you will miss out you are welcome to pay the adoption fee and take the animal prior to the event.  We encourage you to fill out your adoption questioner and get pre-approved for this event to help save you time or the chance of missing out.  You will need Landlord approval to all renters (both in writing and verbal), Vet reference (cannot be done the day of the event as most vets are closed) and your dogs need to be up to date on their vaccinations and licensed in the county you live in (rabies vaccination and license are required by law) to be approved for adoption.  Please fill out the questioner at https://www.cheboyganhumanesociety.org/wp-content/media/CCHS-Adoption-Questionnaire.pdf and bring it into the shelter, fax it or email it to cheboyganpets@hughes.net.  Remember we are first come first serve and no animal will be held.

Look at https://www.cheboyganhumanesociety.org/adoptions/ for all our adoptable animals.

Shadow and Oreo the two pit/lab puppies 4 months old will be part of this event if they are not adopted before May5th.
