Patches Story

Patches was just a tiny bit of black fur when she was hit by a car in front of the Eastside School on September 13, 2016. She was rescued by a good Samaritan who had taken her to the Cheboygan Animal Medical Clinic of Cheboygan where it was determined that she had radial paralysis of her front right leg.  WE cared for her and hoped that her leg would recover.  Unfortunately it did not and had to be amputated on December 27th.  The surgery went very well and she is recuperating nicely.  Even after all that she has been through, she purrs constantly and loves to snuggle.  She will be available for adoption fin about a month.
