Volunteers

We always need volunteers to help clean kennels, walk, bathe, or groom dogs and cats; transport animals to area veterinary clinics and other shelter duties.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation and no criminal record. 

There are three ways you can apply to be a volunteer,

• Stop by the Shelter on Hackleburg Road and pick up an application in person

Volunteers must attend an orientation session and complete all the necessary paperwork prior to starting their duties at the shelter.
